Intro

Ahmed Aurangabadi, whose real name is Junaid Ahmed, was born on 10 October 1975 in the literary city of Aurangabad, Maharashtra. He received his early education from Gulshan-e-Atfal Urdu High School, Aurangabad, and completed his junior college studies at Maulana Azad College, Aurangabad. Later, he pursued pharmaceutical studies at Kamla Nehru College of Pharmacy and adopted the field of medicine and pharmaceuticals as his profession. Ahmed Aurangabadi is regarded among the prominent and active young poets and literary figures of Aurangabad. Along with poetry, he has shown a keen interest in fiction writing and literary criticism. His poetry collection *“Saraab”* was published in 2024 and received considerable appreciation in literary circles. His poetry reflects a beautiful blend of modern sensibility, intellectual depth, and cultural consciousness. Among his literary contributions, his most significant achievement is the establishment of the active literary organization *“Aurang Adab”*, dedicated to nurturing and guiding emerging poets and writers across the region. Through this platform, he has played an important role in promoting literary awareness and encouraging the younger generation’s connection with literature. Apart from creative writing, Ahmed Aurangabadi has also rendered valuable services in the field of editing and compilation. Some of his important edited works include *“Ba-Yaad-e-Bashar Nawaz”*, *“Irtikaz-e-Sukhan”*, and *“Adeeb-e-Asr Aslam Mirza”*, which stand as reflections of his serious commitment to language and literature. His short stories, critical essays, and poetry have been published in various literary magazines and journals, while another poetry collection, along with collections of fiction and criticism, are currently in preparation. In recognition of his literary services, he has been honored with numerous awards, accolades, and titles by various literary, social, and educational institutions.

احمد اورنگ آبادی جن کا اصل نام جنید احمد ہے، ۱۰ اکتوبر ۱۹۷۵ء کو دبستانِ اورنگ آباد، مہاراشٹر میں پیدا ہوئے۔ ابتدائی تعلیم گلشنِ اطفال اردو ہائی اسکول، اورنگ آباد سے حاصل کی، جبکہ جونیر کالج کی تعلیم مولانا آزاد کالج، اورنگ آباد سے مکمل کی۔ بعد ازاں کملا نہرو کالج آف فارمیسی سے تعلیمِ فارمیسی حاصل کی اور پیشۂ حیات کے طور پر شعبۂ ادویات سے وابستہ ہوئے۔ احمد اورنگ آبادی کا شمار اورنگ آباد کے ممتاز اور فعال نوجوان شعراء و ادباء میں ہوتا ہے۔ شاعری کے ساتھ ساتھ افسانہ نگاری اور تنقید نگاری میں بھی ان کی دلچسپی نمایاں ہے۔ ان کا شعری مجموعہ ’’سراب‘‘ سن ۲۰۲۴ء میں شائع ہو کر ادبی حلقوں میں خاصی پذیرائی حاصل کرچکا ہے۔ ان کی شاعری میں جدید حسیت، فکری گہرائی اور تہذیبی شعور کا خوبصورت امتزاج دکھائی دیتا ہے۔ ادبی خدمات کے میدان میں ان کا سب سے اہم کارنامہ نوجوان قلم کاروں کی فعال ادبی انجمن ’’اورنگ ادب‘‘ کا قیام ہے، جس کے ذریعے وہ علاقے بھر کے تازہ کار شعراء و ادباء کی تربیت، رہنمائی اور ادبی آبیاری کا فریضہ انجام دے رہے ہیں۔ ان کی ادبی و تنظیمی سرگرمیوں نے نئی نسل میں ادب سے وابستگی کو فروغ دینے میں اہم کردار ادا کیا ہے۔ احمد اورنگ آبادی نے تخلیق کے ساتھ تدوین و ترتیب کے میدان میں بھی نمایاں خدمات انجام دی ہیں۔ ان کی مرتب کردہ اہم کتابوں میں ’’بیادِ بشر نواز‘‘، ’’ارتکازِ سخن‘‘ اور ’’ادیبِ عصر اسلم مرزا‘‘ شامل ہیں، جو زبان و ادب کی سنجیدہ خدمت کا مظہر ہیں۔ ان کے افسانے، تنقیدی مضامین اور شاعری مختلف ادبی رسائل و جرائد میں شائع ہوتے رہے ہیں، جبکہ مزید ایک شعری مجموعہ، افسانوی اور تنقیدی مجموعے زیرِ ترتیب ہیں۔ ان کی ادبی خدمات کے اعتراف میں متعدد ادبی، سماجی اور تعلیمی اداروں کی جانب سے انہیں مختلف انعامات، اعزازات اور خطابات سے بھی نوازا جاچکا ہے
