Ahmed Aurangabadi, whose real name is Junaid Ahmed, was born on 10 October 1975 in the literary city of Aurangabad, Maharashtra. He received his early education from Gulshan-e-Atfal Urdu High School, Aurangabad, and completed his junior college studies at Maulana Azad College, Aurangabad. Later, he pursued pharmaceutical studies at Kamla Nehru College of Pharmacy and adopted the field of medicine and pharmaceuticals as his profession. Ahmed Aurangabadi is regarded among the prominent and active young poets and literary figures of Aurangabad. Along with poetry, he has shown a keen interest in fiction writing and literary criticism. His poetry collection *“Saraab”* was published in 2024 and received considerable appreciation in literary circles. His poetry reflects a beautiful blend of modern sensibility, intellectual depth, and cultural consciousness. Among his literary contributions, his most significant achievement is the establishment of the active literary organization *“Aurang Adab”*, dedicated to nurturing and guiding emerging poets and writers across the region. Through this platform, he has played an important role in promoting literary awareness and encouraging the younger generation’s connection with literature. Apart from creative writing, Ahmed Aurangabadi has also rendered valuable services in the field of editing and compilation. Some of his important edited works include *“Ba-Yaad-e-Bashar Nawaz”*, *“Irtikaz-e-Sukhan”*, and *“Adeeb-e-Asr Aslam Mirza”*, which stand as reflections of his serious commitment to language and literature. His short stories, critical essays, and poetry have been published in various literary magazines and journals, while another poetry collection, along with collections of fiction and criticism, are currently in preparation. In recognition of his literary services, he has been honored with numerous awards, accolades, and titles by various literary, social, and educational institutions.
